How does telemedicine or virtual visits work?
Telemedicine allows video appointments between a patient and their health care practitioner which is both safe and convenient. Due to the pandemic, more health care providers are offering to “see” patients by computer and smartphone.
How effective is telemedicine?
Through telemedicine, healthcare providers can treat a wide variety of medical problems, illnesses and diseases. Treatments can be sent directly to the pharmacy. Referrals can be made for imaging or diagnostic studies. In addition, CWSF has relationships with a wide range of medical specialists.
Does CWSF take health insurance?
Yes. CWSF is contracted with Medicare/Medicaid. CWSF also has contracted agreements with multiple commercial insurers. Our Subscription Primary Care Plan and Weight Management Plan is self-pay.
